TASSIE CAMERON ’91 is executive producer and showrunner for “Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent,” which won Best Drama Series in the Television category at the Canadian Screen Awards in June in Toronto.

CANON ALYSON BARNETT-COWAN ’71, ’75 (MDiv), ’87 (MTh) was awarded the King Charles III medal in May for her service to the Anglican Church of Canada and the Anglican Communion in key roles of unity, faith and order, and ministry. She also served as President of The Canadian Council of Churches from 2015 to 2018. Congratulations!

THE REV. CAPTAIN BRIAN FLOWER ’90 retired in May 2025, after 35 years in ordained ministry. Having spent much of his ministry in parochial parishes in the Diocese of Rupert’s Land (Winnipeg) and Toronto, Flower spent the last 15 years as a Chaplain in Manitoba Corrections. He looks forward to spending time with his partner and their dogs, as well as gardening and traveling.

BRUCE MACINTOSH ’88 became the Director of University of California Observatories and the Henry Bachmann Chair in Astronomical Instrumentation at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2022. Prior to this role, he was Adjunct Professor in Physics at Stanford University.

THE REV. CANON DR. GORDON RAYMOND MAITLAND ’90, ’03, ’18 retired from active parish ministry in March 2025.

PETER and SUSAN (Tovell) MOOGK ’65 celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in March 2025 with their granddaughter Abigail cheering. On February 2, Peter received the King Charles III Coronation Medal from Senator Mobina Jaffer for his community service. Congratulations!

FORMER TRINITY PROVOST MAYO MORAN has been named to the President’s Impact Academy at the University of Toronto for her work redressing historic wrongs including for Residential School survivors and for the restitution of belongings taken during the Holocaust and in colonial settings. Moran, who is the inaugural Irving and Rosalie Abella Chair in Justice and Equality at U of T’s Faculty of Law, has also received U of T’s 2025 Carolyn Tuohy Impact on Public Policy Award, recognizing excellence in teaching, research, and the impact of scholarship on public policy. Congratulations!

THE VENERABLE PETER O’FLYNN ’57, STL ’60 recently celebrated the 65th anniversary of his ordination. He and his wife, Jean O’Flynn, live in Penticton, B.C., where they have ministered with St. Saviour’s Anglican Church for more than 50 years.

BARRIE WILSON ’66, Professor Emeritus of Humanities/Religious Studies at York University, Barrie has become President of the Academy for Lifelong Learning in Toronto. The Academy for Lifelong Learning is a leader in adult education through peer-to-peer learning offering workshops, talks and walks for seniors who wish to remain fit intellectually and socially.
